My grandparents and great-grandparents lived in Washington around the turn of the 20th century. My mother was born there in 1911 just up the street from the library. It was her favorite place which she frequented often, as she told me. A few years ago I donated to the Library a collection of Vermont history books in her name (Coralyn Wood Osha). I hope they have been of some use.
As I will be in Vermont this weekend, I hope to stop in and say hello.
